Breaking Rumors in Iran: Prime Minister Demonstrates He is Still Alive with Video

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a video of himself enjoying a cup of coffee on various social media platforms on Sunday (March 15), aiming to show the world that he is still alive and well, with all ten fingers intact. This video was intended to dispel rumors circulating online and from Iran claiming his death.

In the one-minute video posted on social media platforms such as X, Telegram, and Instagram, Netanyahu is seen at a café in the outskirts of Jerusalem preparing and savoring his coffee, engaging in a conversation with his assistant.

Netanyahu: “What are people saying?”

Assistant: “Prime Minister, there are rumors online claiming that you have actually passed away.”

Upon hearing this, Netanyahu humorously responds by joking about the word “dead.” In Hebrew, “dead” carries a double meaning, also expressing a strong desire or passion for something or someone.

“I’m dying for coffee. You know what? I’m also dying for my people. They are doing a great job,” Netanyahu quips, playfully showing his ten fingers to the camera, refuting another rumor circulating online suggesting he has six fingers on one hand.

In the video, Netanyahu encourages the Israeli people to get some fresh air but to remain in protected areas nearby.

“Your resilience is amazing—it gives me, the government, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), and Mossad great strength. We are working on some things that I cannot disclose at the moment, but rest assured, we are taking action—even today, severe strikes against Iran and Lebanon are ongoing,” Netanyahu declares.

The video serves not only as a message of reassurance but also as a demonstration of Netanyahu’s vitality despite false rumors about his well-being. His light-hearted and confident demeanor aims to project strength and stability amid uncertain times.
