During the “Two Sessions” of the Chinese Communist Party, sycophantic remarks towards Xi Jinping have once again surfaced. Wu Daisha, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and Deputy Director of the Jiu San Society Jiangxi Provincial Committee, wrote in an article that he felt a “dizzying happiness” when he was arranged to sit in the front row facing Xi Jinping, the leader of the CCP. This praise for Xi Jinping has been mocked by netizens.
According to the official website of Pingxiang College on March 7, Wu Daisha, Vice President of Pingxiang College, stated in an article that on March 6, Xi Jinping attended the joint group meeting of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference in which he was a part.
Recalling the moment when he realized that his seat was facing Xi, Wu Daisha wrote, “At that moment, a sense of dizzying happiness surged in my heart.” Wu Daisha also praised Xi Jinping for having the “professional demeanor of a scientist” and so on.
Jiangxi TV station released an interview video of Wu Daisha. This video was posted online and Wu Daisha’s remarks shocked netizens:
“The true colors of a bootlicker are unmistakable! Kneeling for so long, feeling dizzy and ecstatic at the sight of Xi Jinping’s name brand, wagging its tail in happiness like a dog. The Two Sessions are full of nonsense proposals, pushing for lower marriage age and childbirth, while ignoring economic collapse and people’s hardships.”
“They are not stupid, it’s all strategy. By buttering up a few words here, when he returns to his unit, everyone will have to respect him, this is the political game. Isn’t this how the current emperor has come to power?.”
“When this news came out, many people found it funny and disgusting – it’s all playacting and flattery. But he’s not acting. That’s his real sense of happiness. What does it feel like to be near the ‘core of Xi’, who can crush officials at any time? It’s like being addicted to a drug.”
“Those at the top have their preferences, those at the bottom must comply excessively.”
“This can’t be an isolated case. From this person, we can see that Xi has long been surrounded by flatterers, no longer able to hear the truth, believe it or not. When the revolutionary army broke into the Zhongnanhai, all kinds of treacherous villains fled.”
The Chinese Communist Party has so-called “democratic parties”, referring to the eight democratic parties in China, in addition to the Jiu San Society, there are the Revolutionary Committee of the Kuomintang, China Democratic League, China Democratic National Construction Association, China Democratic Promotion Association, China National Association of Economic Workers, China Zhi Gong Party, and Taiwan Democratic Self-Government League. They are all “direct units” of the United Front Work Department of the CCP.
The Chinese Communist Party has always claimed that its multi-party cooperation and political consultation system is the so-called “new type of party system.” However, there have long been comments from outside observers that these democratic parties are not even considered rubber stamps, at most they are just “ornamental”.
In contrast to the loyalty expressed towards Xi by Wu Daisha, in recent years, officials in the Chinese Communist Party have fallen from grace due to reading banned books and “recklessly commenting on the central government”, which has been seen as confirming the internal dissent and weakening of Xi Jinping’s authority within the party.
