Last Saturday, former President Obama of the United States stated in a media interview that aliens do exist, but he has not seen them, and they are not located in Area 51 in Nevada.
During an episode of “No Lie,” hosted by progressive commentator Brian Tyler Cohen on February 14th, a direct question was posed to Obama about the existence of aliens.
Obama responded, “Aliens do exist, but I haven’t seen them, and they are not hidden in Area 51. Unless there is a massive conspiracy where even the President of the United States is kept in the dark, there are no underground facilities there.”
When asked about the question he was most curious about after becoming president, Obama replied, “Where are the aliens.”
Discussions on extraterrestrial life have garnered significant attention from the American public. On September 9, 2025, the U.S. House of Representatives held a hearing on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP, UFO).
During the hearing, whistleblower-provided footage was shown, documenting the process of the U.S. military tracking a “luminous object” off the coast of Yemen on October 30, 2024.
The video showed a MQ-9 “Reaper” drone tracking an unidentified flying object, while another MQ-9 launched a “Hellfire” missile that hit the target. Surprisingly, despite the object deforming, tumbling, and shedding some small fragments, it continued forward.
Republican Representative Eric Burlison questioned at the hearing, “The object kept moving, and the fragments seemed to have been taken away. But the question is, why are we being prevented from obtaining this information?”
As early as November 13, 2024, the U.S. Congress held a hearing to discuss UFOs and reports from witnesses.
Several witnesses at the hearing insisted on the existence of aliens, including former U.S. Navy Admiral Dimersy Galowdte, former U.S. Department of Defense official Louis Eli Sandow, former NASA Deputy Director Michael Gold, and American journalist Michael Shellenberg.
Admiral Galowdte stated in his testimony that he confirmed the existence of UFOs in 2015. He received an email from a combat officer during an exercise, revealing that an F/A-18 Hornet fighter jet spotted a fast-moving unidentified object – unlike any known weapon or aircraft, nearly colliding with the Hornet. However, the next day, the email disappeared from his inbox.
Former Defense Department official Eli Sandow, responsible for the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, also insisted on the reality of UFOs, accusing the U.S. government of withholding information from the public. Sandow emphasized that many countries are studying UFO technology, engaging in a decades-long secret arms race, with these unidentified flying objects actively monitoring sensitive military facilities worldwide.
Independent writer and journalist Shellenberg revealed in the hearing that the U.S. Department of Defense has conducted an intensive UFO research program called “Perfect Constellation,” specifically collecting high-quality images and firsthand observation records of UFOs, with a substantial amount of high-definition video data in the government’s possession.
According to The Hill, recent revelations from unidentified flying object witnesses suggest that President Trump was aware of secret UFO programs and information related to extraterrestrial life.
A 2025 poll indicated that nearly half of Americans believe the U.S. government is concealing evidence of UFO existence. However, as with the testimonies of witnesses and legislators at the U.S. congressional hearings, Obama’s recent statements on aliens, as expressed in the latest interview, have yet to be officially confirmed.
