At least five people dead in explosion at a company workshop in Shanxi

In China’s Shanxi province, an explosion incident occurred in a company workshop, with state media reporting that all five trapped individuals have tragically passed away.

According to China Central Television (CCTV) news on Saturday (February 7th), quoting the official statement from Shanyin County, Shaozhou City, Shanxi Province, an explosion took place in the workshop of Jia Peng Biotechnology Co., Ltd. in Shanyin County in the early hours of that day. By 10:38 a.m., all five trapped individuals had been located. Upon examination, it was determined that they had no signs of life. The cause of the explosion is currently under investigation.
