Shooting near Washington Union Train Station, One Minor Injured

On Friday afternoon around 4:15 PM Eastern Time, the Washington D.C. police received a report of a shooting near Union Station, with a minor sustaining injuries.

The authorities were alerted to gunshots near the intersection of North Capitol Street and Massachusetts Avenue, prompting a swift response to the scene.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a teenage boy with gunshot wounds lying in the northeast direction of Massachusetts Avenue.

The victim was promptly taken to a nearby hospital by the Washington D.C. Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department for treatment. He was conscious at the time and breathing normally.

Police are currently investigating the incident and have not yet issued any arrest warrants for suspects.
