Breaking News: Thanksgiving Slows Down US Market, European Stock Market Slightly Up

On Thursday, November 28th, trading volume on Thanksgiving Day in the United States decreased. European stock markets saw a slight rebound after a decline in the previous trading day, while Asian stock markets slipped.

As of the time of writing, the Dow Jones Europe STOXX 600 index rose by 0.45%, following a 0.75% decline over the two previous trading days.

The MSCI Asia-Pacific Index outside Japan fell by 0.51%, but Japan’s Nikkei index rose by 0.56%.

In the United States, stock and bond trading was closed for the holiday, but S&P 500 index futures rose by 0.24%. The index had fallen by 0.38% on Wednesday.

Spot gold prices increased by 0.17%, reaching $2,641 per ounce, although it recorded a nearly 4% decline in November, marking its weakest monthly performance in over a year.

Investors are keeping an eye on inflation data from Eurozone countries and German states on Thursday, with overall Eurozone data set to be published on Friday.
