Tsangna, who has been out of the limelight for some time, along with her Jewish entrepreneur husband Xue Zhiwei, has established the Jewish-Taiwan Cultural Exchange Association (JTCA). The association is set to hold a Passover Seder dinner on the 25th, specifically inviting non-Jewish individuals who are interested in experiencing Passover.
Tsangna expressed her desire to promote cultural exchange, emphasizing the significance of the Passover holiday for the Jewish community. She encourages everyone to seize the opportunity to experience the event, highlighting that the Passover Seder dinner will be conducted in both Chinese and English.
“This event is tailored for non-Jewish participants. It is the association’s long-standing tradition, entering its second year of hosting local Passover Seder dinners for non-Jewish individuals. The event will strictly adhere to traditional rituals, including following the rabbi in washing hands, reciting prayers, consuming unleavened bread and other meaningful foods, and drinking red wine,” Tsangna explained. Through this event, participants can not only receive blessings but also deeply experience the most authentic and traditional Jewish holiday, gaining insights into different cultures.
She added, “Whether it’s for those interested in culture, students studying Jewish culture, or foreign friends learning Chinese in Taiwan, JTCA welcomes everyone to sign up.”
Tsangna also jokingly mentioned that guests need not worry about the dining experience at the venue. The kosher dining options provided at the venue’s clean eating laboratory offer delicious dishes in line with current dietary trends. She particularly recommended dishes such as Wellington steak, King David fish, sacred Jewish chicken, hummus, salads, pizza, and various vegetarian options for those who prefer plant-based meals.
Since the establishment of the association, Tsangna has been dedicated to promoting Jewish-Taiwanese cultural exchanges and actively participating in various activities. Despite reducing her appearances on screens, she can often be seen at association events. Many fans and music enthusiasts at these events flock to her for photos. Tsangna graciously accommodates everyone, enjoying her unexpected role as a human billboard within the association, feeling blessed and surrounded by well-wishers.
