On January 18th, Zhang Hong, a petitioner from Sanfang Qixiang in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, went out to take out the trash and was suddenly surrounded by a group of unidentified individuals. In the alley, her clothes were stripped off and she was kidnapped to house number 58 on Anmin Lane for detention. This is the second time in three months that Zhang Hong has been illegally detained at house number 58 on Anmin Lane.
According to Ms. Yan, an informant who spoke to a reporter from Epoch Times, “After being kidnapped, Zhang Hong sent a message to me. Yesterday, in the afternoon of the 18th, she just went out to take out the trash when several strong men surrounded her, stripped off all her upper clothes, leaving her completely naked, and forcibly dragged her into house number 58 on Anmin Lane for detention. It appeared that those people were hired social idlers. There were many people on Anmin Lane at the time, but no one dared to help her despite her loud cries for help.”
Later, Zhang Hong posted a plea for help online. In the video, she questioned the people who kidnapped her, “Are you the ones who were following me the other day? I was just taking out the trash, why did you bring me here?” However, no one responded, and she cried in the video begging for help.
Ms. Yan mentioned, “On the morning of October 24, 2025, Zhang Hong was also forcibly dragged and beaten by a group of people the moment she stepped out, including a police officer with a badge number 110710. They kidnapped Zhang Hong to house number 58 on Anmin Lane for detention, during which her left rib and left chest were injured, resulting in medical expenses of over 8,000 yuan. In both of these sudden kidnappings, they did not inform Zhang Hong of any reasons, and since being kidnapped again yesterday on January 18, 2026, she still doesn’t know the reason.”
Zhang Hong is a resident of Sanfang Qixiang in Fuzhou, which is a 5A scenic spot in Fuzhou. Zhang Hong petitioned because her house was forcibly demolished. On October 24, 2025, she was illegally detained at house number 58 on Anmin Lane, only to later find out it was because some leaders were coming to visit, and they were afraid Zhang Hong would report issues to the leaders. Yesterday, she was inexplicably captured again, her clothes stripped off, and the police still haven’t given any explanation.
