On Tuesday afternoon around 2 p.m., a shooting incident occurred at a vehicle management agency near Wilmington, Delaware, resulting in the death of a state police officer. The suspect has been reported dead.
According to authorities, the threat was expected to be resolved by 3 p.m. on Tuesday, and it has been confirmed that a state trooper lost their life in this incident. Police are currently assessing the condition of other victims.
Delaware Governor Matt Meyer posted on the social media platform X, stating, “State and local law enforcement have arrived at the scene and are coordinating response efforts. We will release the latest updates once confirmed.”
Meyer mentioned that the suspect in the shooting incident has been reported deceased.
Police have advised residents to stay away from the area where the incident took place.
