Recently, in Loudi, Hunan Province, a 6-year-old girl was dragged into an alley by a stranger on her way home from school, but fortunately, residents upstairs noticed and called the police, leading to the immediate arrest of the man.
According to Anhui TV, the mother of the girl, Ms. Zhao, said that the man deceived her daughter by claiming to be a classmate and forcefully taking her into the alley. Fortunately, a neighbor heard the child’s cries and intervened, promptly reporting the incident to the authorities. The man claimed he had been “drinking” and was detained for 15 days.

On June 3, the Louxing Branch of the Loudi City Public Security Bureau in Hunan Province reported that the incident occurred on the afternoon of May 20. A 38-year-old man named Liu dragged a 6-year-old girl into a residential area alley near LiBin Middle Street in Louxing District of Loudi City while allegedly intoxicated. He was promptly stopped by residents and the police were notified. Liu has been detained on suspicion of provocation and trouble-making.
