On the one-year anniversary of the inauguration of the Taoyuan City Government team, they are taking a significant step forward in realizing the four visions of “good commuting, good work, good education, and good life” with a focus on “local education for happy employment.”
Kaohsiung University will hold a signing ceremony for the “Kaohsiung University Collaborates with Taoyuan City High School Friendly Alliance” on May 10th at 1:00 pm in the 1602 Conference Room of the Taoyuan City Government. The signing event will be witnessed by Mayor Zhang Shanzheng, Director Liu Zhongcheng of the Education Bureau, and Legislator Wan Meiling, marking the partnership extension under Kaohsiung University’s educational career aspirations.
Chairman Yan Zhiguang and Lin Yuexiu of Kaohsiung University led the top-level administrators of the university to join forces with 30 high school principals in Taoyuan for the signing, fostering unprecedented cooperation.
The development of education is closely related to the future prosperity of a nation. To promote steady progress in school affairs and jointly nurture future talents, Kaohsiung University will strengthen its collaboration with high schools in the Taoyuan area, injecting new vitality into the local education sector by sharing teaching resources.
Kaohsiung University has dedicated itself to sustainable development and successfully integrated ESG into six colleges. They are actively assisting Taoyuan companies in conducting carbon footprint assessments. In terms of cultivating international elite talents, Kaohsiung University is the first in Taiwan in terms of student exchange programs with Japan, with numerous exchange opportunities with sister schools to broaden horizons. Recently, in collaboration with Kumamoto University in Japan and business organizations, they have established a micro-course program for “Semiconductor Industry Administrative Management Talents” in a multi-pronged approach to talent acquisition.
Through a strategic alliance for talent cultivation across schools, the rich educational resources of the university will be deeply integrated into various types of high schools. In addition to regular talent development programs, the sharing of experiences and exchanges driven by related mechanisms, and the realization of resource integration and sharing, will enhance the research and teaching capabilities of teachers, effectively improve student learning outcomes, and achieve a win-win effect through cooperation.
In order to enhance students’ willingness to study nearby and achieve the ideal of adaptive development in education, the schools will also announce generous scholarship policies on the day of the signing to retain talent in Taoyuan and achieve mutual benefit. ◇
