New York Asian Republican Party Club Meeting Hopes for Young People to Join

The Asian Republican Club held its regular meeting on the 21st with the theme of “Rebuilding the Republican Party in New York”. The gathering attracted individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds, emphasizing concrete actions to promote the growth of the Republican Party. Some members were unable to attend as they were assisting in Trump’s campaign in Pennsylvania, while others rushed back from Pennsylvania to be present.

One of the founding members of the club, Yingying Tan, pointed out that the current presidential election situation is severe, facing numerous domestic and international issues including uncontrolled refugee flows, inflation, rising crime rates, and international conflicts. She believes that continuing to vote for the same Democratic team will only perpetuate these problems. She called on Asian Republicans to take action to defend the country’s future and ensure everyone can live and work in peace.

Tan also revealed that she will travel to Pennsylvania in October to assist in Trump’s campaign, and she hopes more people will join this effort. If unable to go to the swing state, New York also needs more people to promote Republican ideals. Currently in Brooklyn, the average age of local Republicans has exceeded 54 years, thus there is an urgent need to attract more young people to join.
