Recently, in the Pudong New Area of Shanghai, a woman wielding a knife injured several people in a residential complex, with a video showing one person lying motionless on the ground. According to netizens, a total of 5 people were wounded.
On September 19th, a netizen shared a video exposing the incident in “Bruce Town” residential complex in Huinan Town, Pudong New Area of Shanghai, where a woman attacked multiple individuals with a knife. The video depicts a man lying on the ground motionless, while a man standing nearby in uniform shows large bloodstains on his back and right arm. Another woman is seen with an injury to her waist, and a bit further away, a woman covered in blood is seated on the ground.
“Bruce Town” is located in the center of Huinan Town, in the newly developed Pudong area, along Huigarden Road. Late that day, the Pudong Sub-Bureau of the Shanghai Public Security Bureau reported that around 5:30 p.m. on September 19th, police received a call reporting a fight at a residential complex on Huigarden Road. Upon investigation, it was found that Zhou (female, 40 years old) had a dispute with her neighbor, Chen (male, 51 years old), over a trivial matter, during which Zhou attacked Chen and his family with a fruit knife. Currently, Zhou has been apprehended by the police, and the injured individuals are receiving medical treatment with no life-threatening conditions. However, the exact number of injured persons was not reported.
Local netizens, however, claim that “a total of 5 people were injured.” One netizen stated, “My friend lives in the same neighborhood, right in front of her house. They all know each other. She followed someone out with a knife after they threw garbage and stabbed them. After stabbing them, she calmly went back home. People in the neighborhood know she has depression.”
