Shocking National Incident: More Insider Details Revealed in the Tragic Death of Liu Wenjie

On September 20, Liu Wenjie, the female director of the Hunan Provincial Department of Finance, tragically fell to her death from a dormitory building in Changsha, Hunan Province. The police confirmed that she was “murdered,” and two male suspects also fell to their deaths, shocking the nation. An informant revealed additional details to Epoch Times, including circumstances not mentioned in the official report.

The announcement released by the Hunan Provincial Department of Finance on September 20 stated that Liu Wenjie, a delegate to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the 14th National People’s Congress, and the director of the Hunan Provincial Department of Finance, was murdered in Changsha on September 19 at 9:12 a.m. at the age of 58. The announcement praised her as “politically firm,” “dedicated to her duties,” and “devoted to serving the people.”

According to the Changsha Public Security Bureau’s Tianxin Branch report on September 19, a criminal case occurred in a residential dormitory on Chengnan Road in the Tianxin District of Changsha at 9:12 a.m. on September 19. Liu Wenjie (female, 58 years old) was killed, and the suspects Jiang Mou (male, 35 years old) and Jiang Mouhui (male, 31 years old) fell to their deaths. The case is currently under further investigation.

On the night of the 20th, the Changsha police issued another report, stating that the two suspects had used a knife to abduct Liu Wenjie. Liu had struggled with suspect Jiang Mou before they both fell from the balcony. The other suspect, Jiang Mouhui, fell to his death while attempting to flee.

Official reports revealed that suspect Jiang Mouhui is a member of the Political Consultative Conference in Pingjiang County, Hunan Province, and a businessman named Jiang Yihui. The police stated that he owed over 12 million RMB in gambling debts in Macau.

Multiple mainland media outlets previously reported that on the morning of the 19th, Liu Wenjie, the director of the Hunan Provincial Department of Finance, unexpectedly died after being tied up by two assailants and thrown from a window.

Public records show that Liu Wenjie, born in October 1966, worked at the Hunan Provincial Department of Finance for many years, holding positions such as Deputy Director of the Administrative Law Department of the Finance Department and Deputy Director of the Finance Department. In 2020, she transferred to the Party Secretary and Director of the Hunan Provincial Statistics Bureau. In December 2022, she returned to the Hunan Provincial Department of Finance as the director, overseeing the Budget Department and the Financial Supervision Bureau.

Zhang Wangzheng, a self-media practitioner currently residing in Australia and previously employed in the mainland banking industry, disclosed to Epoch Times additional details and the reasons behind Liu Wenjie’s death that differed from the official narrative.

Official reports claimed that there was no prior connection between Liu Wenjie and the two suspects before the incident. However, Zhang revealed to Epoch Times that there was a financial arrangement involving an official acting as a guarantor for a significant loan transaction between two parties.

Liu Wenjie’s involvement with the two perpetrators, Jiang Hui and Jiang Yihui, sparked further investigation. Jiang Hui, aged 35, was identified as the mastermind, while Jiang Yihui was considered an accessory to the crime.

Despite their young age, both Jiang Hui and Jiang Yihui had successful businesses, with reports indicating that they made money through e-commerce. Zhang Wangzheng explained that this tragic incident stemmed from a financial agreement facilitated by Liu Wenjie, acting as a guarantor for a local real estate enterprise in Changsha.
