On June 20th, during construction work by State Grid Shanxi Electric Power Company, a state-owned enterprise in mainland China, a landslide occurred, resulting in the death of at least 4 construction workers.
According to Xinhua News Agency, around 5 p.m. on June 20th, four construction workers from the Ultra High Voltage Transformer Station of State Grid Shanxi Province Electric Power Co., Ltd. were repairing a drainage pipe near Tazi Hui Village in Sancha Town, Wuzhai County. While manually cutting slopes, a landslide happened, burying the 4 workers alive.
The investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
