Chinese Star Zhao Lusi has recently been embroiled in a contract dispute with her talent agency, “Galaxy Cool Entertainment,” shocking the entertainment industry. Unable to terminate her contract with the agency, she deactivated her Weibo account with over 30 million followers. However, it was discovered that she has recently established a new company named “Chengdu Manning Limited Enterprise Management Company,” which has sparked discussions and speculation.
According to information from the Enterprise Search APP, “Chengdu Manning Limited Enterprise Management Company” has a registered capital of 100,000 RMB and its business scope includes online sales, retail of clothing and accessories, footwear retail, etc. Zhao Lusi’s father, Zhao Jun, serves as the legal representative and director of the company, while Zhao Lusi and Zhu Boxue own 90% and 10% of the shares respectively.
Of particular interest is that Zhao Jun is also associated with two companies named “Fufudezhao Enterprise Management Company” in Chengdu and Beijing, both established in April and May of this year, respectively. “Chengdu Fufudezhao Company” has applied for the trademark “FUFUDEZHAO” in all categories and registered the copyright of Zhao Lusi’s related artistic works under “DOEDIAN” and “ROSYDOEDIAN.”
Even though Zhao Lusi’s Weibo account with over 30 million followers has been deactivated, she continues to interact with fans through the official Weibo account of her brand “ROSYDOEDIAN.” Reports state that “ROSYDOEDIAN” is an IP brand founded by Zhao Lusi, focusing on pet culture in its design concept, named after her two dachshunds named “Doe” and “Dian Dian.”
Zhao Lusi fell ill and had to seek medical attention while filming at the end of last year, leading to the cancellation of her work. This sparked a contract dispute with her talent agency, “Galaxy Cool Entertainment.” Faced with demands to bear various losses, she hinted at possibilities outside the entertainment industry on August 8 during a live broadcast.
