Zhang Jing: “Father of the COVID-19 Vaccine” Arrested, Countless Victims

Recently, Yang Xiaoming, the chief scientist of the China Pharmaceutical Group and chairman of China Biotech Limited, was dismissed from the National People’s Congress due to suspected violations of discipline and laws in the People’s Republic of China. Yang Xiaoming, a 62-year-old member of the Communist Party of China, has been working in the biopharmaceutical industry for over 30 years, specializing in basic research on infectious disease vaccines. He has led the development of several key “863” projects. In September 2020, his team was responsible for developing the world’s first inactivated vaccine against the novel coronavirus (CCP virus), and he was awarded the title of “National Advanced Individual in Fighting the CCP virus (novel coronavirus) Pandemic” by the Chinese authorities and hailed as the “father of the CCP virus vaccine.”

The removal of Yang Xiaoming’s NPC delegate status implies that he may have been ousted from his position. This news immediately sparked a shock and outrage online, with tens of thousands of netizens flooding the comment section to express their astonishment and indignation.

Some netizens are calling for accountability for the inactivated vaccine, stating concerns about the short clinical trial period and potential side effects that have affected individuals. Many shared their post-vaccination health complications, such as thyroid or lung nodules, lung emphysema, cancer, heart attacks, leukemia, diabetes, asthma, kidney inflammation, hypertension, loss of smell, skin conditions, blurred vision, weight loss, fertility issues, weakened immune system, memory loss, and overall deterioration of health.

According to the comments, vaccine-related adverse effects appear to be widespread and diverse in symptoms.

Many netizens expressed deep concern after seeing the various post-vaccination complications shared by themselves and family members, worried about the potentially harmful components in the vaccines. The issue of forced vaccination policies during the pandemic control period in China also raised unease among the public, limiting personal freedoms.

Netizens recounted distressing experiences of coercion to get vaccinated, with implications on their daily lives and health. Some mentioned being barred from entering certain places or using public transport without vaccination records, leading to a sense of coercion and lack of choice.

Questions regarding vaccine compensation arose among netizens as they questioned whether those who experienced adverse reactions could seek restitution. The mandatory “voluntary consent form” signed by vaccine recipients before inoculation, often given under the impression of being free, left little room for legal claims against the authorities in case of negative outcomes.

Yang Xiaoming’s involvement in swiftly developing the CCP virus vaccine in a short period raised suspicion among the public, as the typical timeline for developing inactivated vaccines internationally spans several years, prompting concerns over potential hidden risks yet to surface.

Publicly available data shows that China Pharmaceutical Group generated over 700 billion RMB in revenue in 2021, ranking 80th among the top 500 companies globally and leading in the pharmaceutical sector.

As of January 13, 2023, China had administered 34.88 billion doses of the CCP virus vaccine. By February 2023, the vaccination rate among the Chinese population aged 60 and above reached 96.1%, with reluctance towards vaccination diminishing.

The intertwining interests of vaccine manufacturers reaping massive profits and the top-down mandate by the Chinese government for universal vaccination have raised suspicions of collusions, exploitation, and harm to citizens. Yang Xiaoming’s arrest for alleged misconduct, with the ambiguity surrounding the specifics, has left many wondering about the potential link to vaccine side effects, a matter of utmost concern for billions of vaccinated individuals in China.

The coverage of Yang Xiaoming’s case in mainland Chinese media, coupled with the open comment sections allowing widespread public engagement, appears to be strategically orchestrated by the authorities. Yang Xiaoming and others like him might serve as scapegoats for the adverse effects of the CCP virus vaccine.
