In the early morning of December 7th, a large fire broke out in a fireworks and firecrackers warehouse in Simao District, Pu’er, Yunnan Province. As reported by the Beijing News, information obtained from the Pu’er City Government stated that the fire covered an area of approximately 1500 square meters. Fortunately, there have been no reports of casualties as a result of the fire, and as of 9 AM on the 7th, firefighters were still working to extinguish the flames.
