Xiao Huangqi Releases New Song, Conveys Recent Emotions

Renowned singer “King of Golden Melodies” Xiao Huangqi has returned to his former record label and released his latest work “It’s Okay”, almost two years since his last release. At the press conference today (9th), Xiao Huangqi introduced his new work as a reflection of his natural state of mind in recent years. The event also featured the premiere of the music video for the album’s title track.

In the music video, Xiao Huangqi transforms into a taxi driver deeply immersed in the lives of his passengers, observing a range of emotions and troubles – from happiness to sadness. Spending an entire day in the car, he seems to experience everything happening in the world, and he always manages to reassure them with his wisdom that everything will be okay.

In November of last year (2023), Xiao Huangqi announced his return to his former label Warner Music. Today, he held a press conference in Taipei for his brand-new album “It’s Okay”. In addition to the exciting news that his concerts in May and June have sold out, the amiable Xiao Huangqi was deeply touched to receive blessing videos from friends in the industry, including famous artists such as Yoga Lin, Dai Ailing, Della Ding, Li Shengjie, Li Chen Na, and A-Lin.

This album holds special significance for Xiao Huangqi, symbolizing his changed perspective on people, events, and things after the pandemic. As time progresses, he hopes to adopt a more natural state of mind, where the phrase “It’s Okay” serves as a soothing tonic to keep emotions balanced. Through this album, he aims to bring a sense of calm and strength to his listeners.
