A Taiwanese son-in-law from Turkey, Wu Feng, has been living and working in Taiwan for nearly 20 years. He often shares his love for Taiwan, hoping to instill a sense of appreciation for this land in more people. In recent years, there have been two moments that have made him most proud in Taiwan.
On the 26th, Wu Feng shared in a Facebook post an interview where he was asked, “What are the proudest moments you’ve experienced in Taiwan?” He replied, “One is receiving the Golden Bell Award! The other is hosting the National Day celebration! Especially hosting the National Day celebration watched by people all over Taiwan, it truly makes me proud! Every time I think about it, I start to feel nostalgic. Standing on such a grand stage, there’s an indescribable energy!”
The only regret he has is that his father is no longer with him. Wu Feng expressed his wish to share this story and honor with his father, saying, “I believe my dad would be moved to tears!”
Wu Feng is very thankful for his father’s encouragement to come to Taiwan, saying, “Thanks to my father’s support, along with my own efforts, I have created many unforgettable memories on this land.” Finally, he earnestly emphasized, “Let’s continue to cherish Taiwan together, let’s embrace and respect each other. There are still many good days ahead to be enjoyed.”
