On July 22, US President Trump stated at the White House that he may soon visit China.
According to articles published in Foreign Policy magazine and Deutsche Welle, it is suggested that Trump should go to Beijing to participate in the commemorative activities of the Anti-Japanese War, believing that this would benefit world peace.
Reports from Reuters and the South China Morning Post, citing sources, indicate that Trump’s aides have recently discussed the possibility of Trump’s visit to China in conjunction with his attendance at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in South Korea. There is also a possibility of holding a sideline meeting during the APEC summit from October 30 to November 1.
