Western Australia Student Grants Now Open for Applications.

Starting from Monday (April 15), families in Western Australia can apply for the WA Student Assistance Payment through the ServiceWA application. This payment is available for children from early childhood education to high school students. Students attending public schools, private schools, or being homeschooled are all eligible to apply.

According to Roger Cook, the Premier of Western Australia, the payment will be deposited into the applicant’s bank account within a week of applying.

The application for the assistance payment opened on Monday (April 15) and will close on June 28.

Primary school or early childhood students can receive $150 each, while high school students can receive $250 each.

The purpose of this assistance payment is to help Western Australian families purchase essential school supplies for their children, such as books, school uniforms, school shoes, IT equipment, stationery, sports and music fees, short trips and camping, as well as food and groceries.

During the application process, parents will need to provide the student identification number, which can be found in school reports or NAPLAN results.
