Weather Forecast: Henan Feels Like Temperature to Reach 50℃

The latest weather forecast released by the Henan Meteorological Observatory shows that starting from early next week (August 3), the perceived temperature in some areas of Henan Province will soar to 50℃. This news hit the top search rankings on July 30.

According to the latest forecast information from the Henan Meteorological Observatory, at the beginning of next week, in addition to some areas reaching a perceived temperature of 50℃, most parts of the province will experience temperatures ranging from 38℃ to 40℃, with some areas reaching 41℃.

As reported by Dahe Daily on July 29, temperatures ranging from 37℃ to 39℃ will become the daily norm in the northwest, east, and south of Henan Province starting today. And this is just the prelude to the “roasting” mode.

Although the weather forecast shows that there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in the northern, eastern, and southeastern parts of Henan Province on July 29, with some counties and cities in the north experiencing moderate to heavy rain, on July 30, scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected in the north, west, and southeast. However, this bit of rain seems more like adding fuel to a huge steamer, bringing not coolness but increasingly sticky and humid heat.

Currently, it appears that in the next few days, temperatures above 25℃ will be the norm for the minimum temperature.

In response to this, a netizen named “李VevN4” revealed: “The average daily temperature in Henan is 8+ degrees higher than in previous years. It’s scary to see the lowest temperature still around 36 degrees in the middle of the night, isn’t it?”

Another netizen, “迴響年年,” expressed concern: “I am more worried about whether work can be stopped in such extreme weather conditions. If work cannot stop, can the high temperature subsidies be distributed to those in need?”
