This movie marks Hu Ge’s first foray into light comedy and Gao Yuanyuan’s return to the big screen after several years. At the red carpet event on the 18th, Hu Ge’s considerate gesture of helping Gao Yuanyuan with her dress and the elegant pairing of the two actors earned them praises as “adorable” from netizens, generating further anticipation for their on-screen chemistry in the new film.
Prior to this collaboration, Hu Ge and Gao Yuanyuan worked together in the drama series “Perfect Partner”, where Gao Yuanyuan made a postpartum comeback in 2022.
