US Congressman Talks About UFOs: Aliens May Have Underwater Bases on Earth

On Wednesday, January 22, US Republican Congressman Tim Burchett once again expressed the credibility of the existence of extraterrestrial beings while discussing UFO (Unidentified Flying Object) phenomena, and suggested that aliens may have underwater bases on Earth.

During a news program on “One America News” hosted by former Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz, Burchett mentioned, “Someone told me that certain objects are moving underwater at speeds of hundreds of miles per hour, and they are as big as a football field.”

Burchett added, “This is a documented case, and a Navy admiral told me about these things.”

Burchett has long believed that the US government has been concealing the existence of UFOs and other extraterrestrial activities. He believes that in the “vast expanse of God’s great universe,” anything is possible.

As early as last April, Burchett stated after attending a classified briefing on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP, commonly known as UFO), that the government is intentionally withholding relevant information. He said, “We have spent tens of millions of dollars studying these phenomena. We have departments claiming to have institutions for recovering UFOs, but complete reports are not made public. Everything is being covered up.”

In 2023, a former Air Force intelligence officer testified before Congress, claiming that the US government had recovered several crashed unknown aircraft, and even found non-human “biological samples.” However, the Pentagon denied these allegations.

During the summer of the same year, multiple whistleblowers testified before Congress, alleging that the government was withholding information about extraterrestrial or advanced technology aircraft. Subsequently, Burchett requested the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community to further investigate these claims.

To promote transparency, Burchett also led the establishment of a UAP internal group within Congress in 2023 and collaborated with bipartisan lawmakers to push for the military to disclose more information about UAP.

Despite Burchett’s belief in the existence of extraterrestrial beings, he reassured the American public that there is no need to be overly concerned about potential high-tech threats from supposed aliens. He said, “I’m not worried about them hurting us. To be honest, if they had that kind of technology, they would have roasted us long ago.”

In recent years, Congress has been increasingly paying attention to reports of UFOs. What was once considered a far-fetched UFO issue has now become a serious national security concern.

In 2023, the Pentagon’s office dedicated to investigating UAP received 21 reports with sufficient data, and relevant intelligence agencies are actively investigating these reports.

UAP phenomena include various strange objects or data detected in the air, on the ground, or in the water. The most famous UAP cases come from sightings reported by military pilots. They describe objects they have witnessed as typically circular or cylindrical, capable of flying at extremely high speeds, and with no apparent means of propulsion. Some images of the witnessed objects have been captured.

The Pentagon noted that many UAP reports were ultimately found to have ordinary sources, such as weather balloons, spy planes, or satellites, but there are still some phenomena that cannot be easily explained. These unexplained phenomena have sparked high congressional concern about the potential national security threats they may pose.
