US Border Patrol Union Endorses Trump in Appeal to Solve Immigration Issues

The U.S. Border Patrol Union officially declared its full support for former President Trump on Sunday (October 13), hoping that he could be re-elected and end the immigration crisis at the southern border.

The National Border Patrol Council announced this news at a gathering held in Prescott Valley, Arizona.

During the event, Trump expressed his honor in receiving the union’s endorsement, representing the entire Border Patrol Union.

“It’s a tremendous honor,” Trump said. “They said it’s unanimous. Thousands of people.”

He then invited National Border Patrol Council Chairman Paul Perez to join him on stage.

Perez mentioned that allowing millions of unchecked immigrants to enter the U.S., “these individuals are committing murders, rapes, robberies, burglaries, and various other crimes, which continue to put our country in danger.”

“There’s only one person who can solve this problem. And that’s Donald J. Trump,” he continued. “He has always stood with the men and women protecting this border, risking their lives for this country.”

The union chairman urged the crowd to make a choice in November, stating, “We, representing the 16,000 men and women of the National Border Patrol Council, strongly advocate and support Donald J. Trump for President.”

Trump praised the Border Patrol agents as “incredible” and expressed his delight in receiving the union’s endorsement, vowing to stand by them forever.

He also assured the audience that his government would combat violent crime and support law enforcement.

Trump promised the Border Patrol members that if elected, he would immediately request Congress to approve a 10% raise for them and hire an additional ten thousand Border Patrol personnel to address the manpower shortage.

Polls consistently show that voters believe Trump is more capable of handling economic, inflation, immigration, and border security issues. However, on matters such as affordable housing, abortion, healthcare, they tend to lean towards supporting Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
