Upcoming Seminar in San Francisco to Unveil CCP’s Transnational Suppression

For years, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has been attempting to control the Chinese-American community in the United States through infiltration, division, and control, using threats and intimidation against overseas Chinese in the free environment of democratic society.

Since Xi Jinping took office in 2012, the CCP’s transnational repression of overseas dissidents has escalated, with increasingly brazen tactics. Especially in the past two years, the CCP’s suppressive actions have intensively escalated.

In order to stop the CCP’s violations of Chinese people’s rights, the conscientious media outlets “Epoch Times,” NTD Television, and “Sound of Hope” will jointly host a “Seminar on Exposing CCP’s Transnational Repression” on September 27th (Saturday) from 3 PM to 6 PM at Cupertino Library Community Room #201 (10800 Torre Avenue, Cupertino, CA 95014) in the Bay Area of San Francisco, California.

The seminar will be hosted by the senior host of Sound of Hope, Gao Jie. Guests include: Jie Lijian, Chairman of the China Democracy Party International Alliance; Fang Zheng, former chairman of the Democratic Fund for Education; Hu Liren, Chinese entrepreneur and anti-CCP activist; Shi Zhenying, anti-CCP activist from Hong Kong; Chen Weiming, founder of the Freedom Sculpture Park; Feng Congde, Chairman of the China Democratic Fund for Education, and Lan Shu, editor-in-chief of Epoch Times in Northern California.

The organizers stated that the purpose of this seminar is to expose the truth of the CCP’s transnational repression, unite the Chinese community, and safeguard freedom and security together. They also call on more people who care about freedom and justice to actively participate, speak out, and unite to counteract the CCP’s encroachment on democratic countries.
