Singer Yeh Bing-Huan, who rose to fame on “Chinese Star Boulevard 2” and “The Voice of China” with his remarkable performances, was dubbed as the “Prince of Vocal Transformation” by veteran singer A-Mei. Last year, he released a new album titled “Pink and Gray”. Although he didn’t make the cut for this year’s “Golden Melody Awards,” he remains undaunted and has come out with a new song titled “Vastness.”
Reflecting on not being nominated for the “Golden Melody Awards,” Yeh Bing-Huan shared, “Disappointment is inevitable, but I personally really like this album and have fallen in love with songwriting. I hope to one day write songs that touch more people’s hearts, that’s where the real sense of achievement lies.”
Recently, Yeh Bing-Huan teamed up with Eriri for a performance at COFFEE LAW in the Xinyi District of Taipei under the theme of “Good Songs to Gather in Summer.” He also treated fans to a first listen of his latest unreleased single.
In a lively start to the show, Yeh Bing-Huan sang “I Love You” by Crowd Lu but got so carried away that he forgot the key of the song, much to the amusement of his fans. He expressed his desire for this song to leave a lasting impression on the audience, which is why he always includes it in his performances to share the joy with everyone.
Constantly shuttling between Taiwan and the mainland for performances, Yeh Bing-Huan’s album received a positive response and clinched the double champion spot in pre-orders on Books.com, boosting his confidence. He plans to stay in Taiwan for the rest of the year.
He revealed that he has decided to stop regular performances, opting to shift his focus to special concerts and campus gigs, as well as delving deeper into songwriting and behind-the-scenes production. He humorously mentioned, “So I can interact with more young people.” He is also preparing for a ticketed solo concert scheduled for the end of the year.
