Recently, various strange phenomena have been occurring across China. On June 1st, a peculiar sight of hundreds of fish flipping and leaping out of the water was witnessed at Dianchi Lake in Kunming, Yunnan Province. Additionally, in Tibet, sightings of red lightning sprites have also captured attention.
Eyewitnesses reported to “Sichuan Observer” that on that day in Kunming, at least three to four hundred fish were flipping and leaping out of Dianchi Lake, lasting for about a minute, with the temperature around 22 degrees Celsius.
Video footage shows the fish in Dianchi Lake continuously flipping and leaping out of the water.
While many netizens expressed excitement, some also raised concerns, “Is an earthquake coming? Animals usually have early warning signs.” “Today (the 1st), a 3.6 magnitude earthquake already occurred in Xishuangbanna. Who knows if there will be a major earthquake in other places.” “It seems like similar events also took place before the Tangshan earthquake. Let’s hope it’s just a normal situation.”
Recently, various unusual phenomena have been appearing across China.
According to the National Space Weather Monitoring and Early Warning Center of China Meteorological Administration, on June 1st, around 7:45 AM on May 31st, sunspot region 14100 began to erupt flares, reaching its peak at 8:05 AM with an M8.1-class moderate flare intensity. It is predicted that geomagnetic storms may occur in the next three days. On June 2nd, auroras will appear in northern China, and in some areas, red-green compound auroras may even be visible.
From May 31st to June 1st, photographers in Tibet captured images of red lightning sprites. According to CCTV news, these “red lightning sprites” usually appear in the sky for less than one-thirtieth of a second, making them extremely rare.
Furthermore, on the evening of May 30th, unidentified flying objects with long tails were observed in the night sky in Guangdong, Hainan, Shandong, Anhui, Hebei, and Beijing, lasting for about 20 seconds.
