Trump appears at the golf course swinging clubs to respond to health rumors

On Saturday, August 30th, US President Trump appeared at the Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia, swinging his club and playing golf to counter various speculations about his health in recent days.

Some media outlets pointed out that Trump had no public activities listed in the White House schedule for the past few days. Additionally, a photo circulating online showing bruising on Trump’s hand raised questions about the president’s health. Veteran White House reporter Laura Rozen, who closely follows White House affairs, even posted multiple inquiries on social media questioning why Trump was avoiding the media.

On that day, Trump was seen at the Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia, accompanied by his grandchildren, Kai and Spencer Frederick Trump.

Vice President Vance emphasized during an interview with USA Today on Wednesday that Trump is in “excellent physical condition” and stated that if any accidents were to happen, he had “undergone the best 200 days of real training,” but he also believed that Trump “will continue to fulfill his term and deliver results.”

In fact, Trump’s health has been under scrutiny since he was shot in Butler, Pennsylvania during the 2024 campaign. The bullet grazed his right ear, staining his shirt with blood. However, the shooting did not affect his campaign pace. A few days later, he attended the Republican National Convention to accept the party’s presidential candidate nomination with a white bandage wrapped around his ear.

In July of this year, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt revealed that Trump underwent examinations for swollen legs and bruising on his hands, diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a common vascular issue among individuals over 70. White House physician Sean Barbabella emphasized that no signs of deep vein thrombosis or heart failure were found in the examination. Trump’s test results were all “normal,” allowing him to fully carry out his presidential duties.

In January, the 79-year-old Trump returned to the Oval Office, becoming the oldest president ever sworn in in American history. His supporters and staff have repeatedly emphasized that Trump devotes his energy to work, being the person who makes the “last call of the day and the first one to rise” each day.

On Friday, Trump participated in an interview with “Daily Call,” expressing his views on the Russia-Ukraine war and US foreign policy, showing that he is actively engaged in both domestic and foreign affairs.
