Trump and Biden Camps Send Bigwigs to Support Election Campaigns

This Saturday, October 5th, Tesla CEO Elon Musk will attend a Republican campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, alongside former President Donald Trump.

Correspondingly, former President Barack Obama plans to embark on a tour of several key swing states starting next Thursday to campaign for Vice President Kamala Harris.

Most Americans believe that this year’s election is crucial for the country’s direction, with heavyweight figures from both major parties personally stepping in to support their candidates.

According to a report by the Associated Press on Friday, Saturday’s rally with Trump will take place at the same location where he survived an assassination attempt in July.

On Thursday, Musk retweeted a tweet promoting the rally by Trump on his social media platform X, stating, “I will be there to support.” Musk will attend as a special guest. The organizers of the campaign confirmed this news on Friday.

This will be the first public appearance of Musk supporting Trump’s campaign. When Trump survived the assassination attempt in July, Musk wrote on X, “I fully support President Trump and wish him a speedy recovery.”

In recent months, Musk has intensified his support for Trump and become more actively involved in politics. If Trump wins the election again, Musk has agreed to lead a government efficiency committee.

Musk has also established a Super PAC supporting Republican candidates, spending huge amounts on campaigning in the final months leading up to the election.

Organizers of the campaign stated that the rally will also be attended by Trump’s running mate, Ohio Republican Senator J.D. Vance, Trump’s son Eric Trump, Eric Trump’s wife and co-chair of the Republican National Convention (RNC), Lara Trump, as well as several Pennsylvania legislators and law enforcement officials.

In addition, Harris’s campaign team stated that Obama will be visiting various locations nationwide in the final 27 days before the election, primarily focusing on swing states to campaign for Harris.

A few months ago, Obama, along with other major Democrats, worked behind the scenes to push President Biden to withdraw from the 2024 election.

During his speech at the Democratic National Convention in August, he mentioned that Harris “was not born into privilege, she had to work for everything she has.”

He also stated, “She truly cares about the plight of others.”

Back in 2008, when Obama was running for president, Harris was an early supporter of his. She even campaigned for Obama in the Iowa Caucus elections before the Democratic primary voting.
