According to a report by Cover News on the 4th, Mr. Lei, the person who filmed the video, said that it was after 5 p.m. when bugs kept crawling into their hair and neck while waiting in line for over two hours to take the cable car, causing intense itching that was unbearable.
The staff at the scenic area responded, attributing the sudden appearance of bugs to the hot and humid weather with the likelihood of rain. They mentioned that they had already used insecticides that evening and with the weather improving over the next couple of days, no bugs were present anymore.
