Tom Cruise made a surprise appearance at the closing ceremony of the Olympics, video of passing on the handover flag revealed.

On August 11th, local time, Tom Cruise (Tom Cruise, also known as Tom Cruise) performed stunts at the closing ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics. A pre-shot video showed him riding a motorcycle, skydiving in the sky of the United States, and passing the Olympic flag to the 2028 Olympic host city of Los Angeles.

In early August, there were reports that the 62-year-old Tom Cruise actively proposed to the International Olympic Committee to perform stunts at the venue. In the closing ceremony video of the Paris Olympics, Tom Cruise’s spectacular stunt performance passed the Olympic five-ring flag from the Paris Olympic venue to the 2028 Olympic host city of Los Angeles, marking a perfect ending for the 2024 Olympics.

After singing the American national anthem, the music of “Mission: Impossible” played, and Tom Cruise leaped from the highest point of the stadium, rapidly descended using a rappelling rope, smoothly controlling his descent with one foot, and then walked towards the stage, receiving a warm welcome from the on-site audience. Tom Cruise took over the Olympic flag from Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and American gymnast Simone Biles on stage.

In the pre-shot video, Tom Cruise was seen riding a motorcycle with the flag to the airport, boarding a large transport plane. As the plane took off, he began changing clothes onboard. The footage then switched to Tom Cruise skydiving from the plane above Los Angeles, landing in Hollywood, and adding three additional rings to the Hollywood sign to create the colors of the Olympic rings.

Then, Tom Cruise passed the Olympic flag to American mountain climber Kate Courtney, who has a high popularity in the field of mountain biking. It was then passed to the well-known American track and field athlete Michael Johnson and skateboarding medalist Jagger Eaton, passing through the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena and then to the famous Venice Beach.

According to People magazine, Tom Cruise has long been a fan and supporter of the Olympics. In 2004, during the Athens Olympics in Greece, he passed the Olympic torch from Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles as part of the global relay. Recently, he has also participated in several events to cheer for the U.S. team, including some swimming competitions on July 27, the women’s gymnastics qualifying round on July 28, and the women’s soccer gold medal match between the U.S. and Brazil on August 10.
