Aside from cleaning taps, tomato sauce can also be used to clean silverware or copperware, such as removing burned food residue from cookware or making copper kitchen utensils shine.
For copperware specifically, apply tomato sauce all over the surface, let it sit for an hour, then use a damp sponge to remove the sauce and stains, wash with warm soapy water, rinse with clean water, and dry with a lint-free microfiber cloth.
