The new edition of “Dreams of Actors” to premiere online for a limited time.

The artistic feature film “Actor’s Dream,” produced by New Century Films, has completed screenings in Quebec, Canada, Osaka, Japan, and Midtown USA. It is set to be broadcast for free on Clean World Channel on August 23, 2024, to show appreciation for the enthusiastic response and anticipation of the wide audience.

The new version of “Actor’s Dream” has extended its runtime to 85 minutes. Building on the original team, new actors from around the world have joined, enriching the cast and deepening the plot to infuse new meanings into the core message of the film.

On the evening of August 2, 2024, the New Century Films team held the first public screening of the new “Actor’s Dream” for French-speaking audiences in the Quebec French-speaking area of Canada. Producer Huiyue introduced, “With an audience of two to three hundred people on-site, the response was very enthusiastic, exceeding our expectations. Many people were curious about the book ‘Turning the Wheel’ featured in the film, asking where they could find it. This screening once again made us realize that people from different backgrounds can appreciate ‘Actor’s Dream’ and find inspiration and gain something from it.”

On the evening of August 17, viewers in Midtown USA praised the new “Actor’s Dream,” saying that the film had “surpassed multiple levels, going beyond expectations.” A highlight was the male lead, Zhang Donghai, portrayed by Adan Xu from Australia. Some viewers commented that he successfully embodied the role of a responsible and reliable husband, leaving a profound impression on the audience.

In Osaka, Japan, on August 10, 2024, several council members watched the screening of the new “Actor’s Dream” and were deeply moved. Councilor Akiko Noda from Higashi Osaka City expressed, “It was quite splendid, this film deeply moved me, very touching.” Councilor Takashi Oya from Hyogo Prefecture stated, “The film’s theme song and scenes are grand and magnificent.” Local organizers praised the film after the screening, acknowledging its artistic height from the original version and the new version’s ability to surpass it in artistry, breaking through the audience’s existing impressions, which is truly rare.

Since its release in 2022, the original film “Actor’s Dream” has won 32 awards, including best director and best feature film at major international film festivals across continents.
