The 35th Golden Melody Awards Announces Award Presenters, Invites Wan Fang to Perform for Cheng Hua-Juan.

The 35th Golden Melody Awards will take place at Taipei Arena on the 29th, and the lineup of presenters was announced today. Among the 22 celebrity guests who will attend are GIO, A-Lin, YELLOW, Eve Ai, and others. Wan Fang, a special contribution award winner, will also perform at the event.

In the past, Wan Fang had classic songs like “Slow Train” and “Childish” composed by Zheng Hua-juan. This time, invited to perform, Wan Fang admitted to feeling immense pressure but still hopes her performance can reflect Zheng Hua-juan’s creative style and diverse persona.

Wan Fang revealed that she will present a medley of four classic songs and has invited Huang Yun-ling, a close friend of Zheng Hua-juan, to serve as the music director for her performance, using guitar-based arrangements to build emotions and song variations. Wan Fang also stated, “Through the performance, I hope to thank Hua-juan for bringing us such rich musical works and injecting new styles into Taiwanese songs.”

The 22 presenters announced today, in stroke order, include 9m88, A-Lin, Faye, HUSH, Leo Wang, YELLOW, Jiang Meiqi, Eve Ai, Lu Chiang, GIO, Samba, Gao Jie, Hsu Ju-yun, Chen Jheng-hao, Chen Chien-wei, Chen Chien-chi, Peng Jia-hui, Xiong Zai, Feng Hsiao-yue, Wei Ru-yun, Wei Ru-hsuan, and Su Pei-ching, who will all attend this grand event.

Hsu Ju-yun, currently busy with her concert tour, expressed excitement about returning to the Golden Melody Awards stage after many years, stating, “I’m very excited! Especially to serve as a presenter, a role that carries on encouragement and positive energy, is really wonderful.”

A-Lin, who won the Best Female Singer award last year, will also serve as a presenter this year, announcing the much-anticipated list of winners. A-Lin joked that with a different role this year, the nervous feeling has faded, replaced by excitement: “Because now it’s the people below the stage who are nervous!”

Feng Hsiao-yue, who was nominated for the Best New Artist award in this edition for her debut album last year, will also be a presenter at this year’s awards ceremony, revealing that she will share the presenter role with her friend Su Pei-ching.

The 35th Golden Melody Awards Ceremony will take place on June 29th (Saturday) at Taipei Arena. The host, Taiwan Television (TTV), will start live broadcasting the Red Carpet from 5:00 pm and the awards ceremony starting at 7:00 pm. The event will also air on Taiwan Television’s main channel for viewers in Taiwan. Exclusive free live streaming platforms in Taiwan include LINE TODAY, LINE MUSIC official accounts, and LINE TV, with LINE TODAY offering multiple viewing angles for more choices for viewers.

Other broadcast platforms include the Global Golden Melody official YouTube channel (excluding Taiwan), Chunghwa Telecom MOD, UFO Radio, Malaysia’s sooka and Astro (including Brunei), among others, where the event will also be broadcast.
