Tang Wei Rarely Shares Family Photo to Commemorate 10th Wedding Anniversary with Kim Tae-yong

Chinese Actress Tang Wei and Korean Director Kim Tae-yong Celebrate 10th Wedding Anniversary

Chinese actress Tang Wei, who married Korean director Kim Tae-yong in 2014 and shares a 7-year-old daughter named Summer with him, recently celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary. Tang Wei posted a family photo on her Instagram account, showcasing the happy family of three and receiving many blessings from netizens.

In the photos shared by Tang Wei on July 12th, they were seen enjoying a leisurely time by a pond, admiring lotus flowers as the sun set in the background. In one picture, Tang Wei even took on the role of the photographer, capturing a close-up shot of her daughter making a heart gesture with her hands. Kim Tae-yong could be seen in another photo capturing the fun moment of his wife and daughter together using his phone.

It is worth mentioning that July 12th marked Tang Wei and Kim Tae-yong’s wedding anniversary, with Tang Wei captioning the photos with “10 years” and a red heart emoji.

Tang Wei, who is 44 years old this year, met Kim Tae-yong in 2010 while working on the film “Late Autumn” and tied the knot in 2014. Their daughter was born in August 2016, completing their happy family. Tang Wei’s decision to bring their daughter, who had been living in Korea, to Beijing for some time had sparked speculations about their relationship, especially when Tang Wei chose to share a heartwarming photo of Summer holding hands with her elderly grandfather on her birthday instead of a personal photo, leading to misunderstandings about their marriage. Tang Wei later clarified that she wanted their child to spend more time with the elderly due to her father’s health condition.

The couple collaborated for the second time in the film “Wonderland,” which was released in Korea in June this year following their successful partnership in “Late Autumn.” During the press event, when asked about working together again, Kim Tae-yong mentioned how wonderful it was to see Tang Wei both on set and at home.

These recent years have been a shining moment for Tang Wei in the Korean film industry, as she garnered multiple Best Actress awards for her role in “A Decision to Break Up,” directed by Park Chan-wook, making her the first foreign actress to win the Blue Dragon Award and receiving recognition at prestigious ceremonies like the Baeksang Arts Awards and Asian Film Awards.

By sharing a rare and sweet family photo, Tang Wei confirmed that her marriage with Kim Tae-yong is still filled with love. Despite not being fluent in each other’s language – Tang Wei struggles with Korean while Kim Tae-yong with Chinese – the couple primarily communicates in English, which doesn’t hinder their strong bond.
