This morning at 6:30 a.m., the Central Weather Bureau of Taiwan issued a heavy rain advisory, with warnings of torrential rain in the mountainous areas of Kaohsiung City and Pingtung County, and heavy rain in the mountainous areas of Tainan City, Kaohsiung City, Pingtung County, Hengchun Peninsula, Penghu County, and Kinmen region. Due to the impact of the rain, the Personnel Administration Department of the Executive Yuan announced the suspension of work and classes in various regions of Taiwan on the 4th as follows:
