On August 28, a small plane crash occurred at Jinshitan in Jinpu New Area, Dalian, Liaoning Province. Witnesses reported that they saw the plane fall onto the road at Jinshitan beach, narrowly missing hitting a car passing by.
A dashcam footage showed that at 10:47 on August 28, a white small plane descended at about a 45-degree angle towards the road, first landing on the green belt in the middle of the road, then bouncing up and falling onto the road. As the plane crashed, a white car passed by, narrowly avoiding a collision. Another mobile phone footage showed that the plane had the words “B-10KP” and “Dalian Honghu Aviation” on it.
A netizen posted a video claiming that she was driving past the area when the plane crashed, narrowly missing hitting her car.
One eyewitness said that when driving by, they noticed many people around the plane, “no one or vehicle was seen being hit by the fallen plane at the scene.”
After the incident, Dalian Honghu Aviation has not publicly commented on the matter. The Jinshitan police station responded to Dawa News that they have not received reports of casualties, and other details cannot be disclosed at this time.
An industry insider told The Beijing News that the plane that crashed was a two-seater light sport aircraft, suitable for tourism, sightseeing, and flight training purposes.
