A new scandal has emerged in the Chinese football community. Recently, a woman came forward to publicly accuse a football blogger with over a million fans, known as “The Programer Who Plays Football,” of having an extramarital affair, sparking heated discussions. As of now, the accused individual has not responded to the allegations.
In a video shared on social media, a young woman appeared in person to accuse the football blogger, Guan Xuhun, of cheating on his wife and deceiving her.
She claimed in the video that Guan Xuhun, known as “The Programmer Who Plays Football,” had an extramarital affair with her, deceiving her and engaging in an inappropriate relationship with her without offering a face-to-face apology or explanation within a year.
The woman stated that she had been a fan of the football blogger for two years. They started following each other on November 1, 2023, and exchanged contact information. On November 19, 2023, he entered into a romantic relationship and had a physical relationship with her while concealing the fact that he was married.
To prove the authenticity of her claims, she also presented chat records between her and the blogger as evidence.
The accused blogger, “The Programmer Who Plays Football,” introduced himself on social media as a former senior software engineer in Tokyo, a Class C coach of the AFC, and a national level two football referee.
He frequently shares videos online of himself playing football and commenting on football matches, attracting a substantial following of over 1.1 million fans and wielding considerable influence in the football community.
The woman’s public accusation against “The Programmer Who Plays Football,” Guan Xuhun, for his extramarital affair has caused a stir.
Some internet users commented that incidents like this are not uncommon in the Chinese football community, citing previous cases involving a 18-year-old football player and a 21-year-old player. However, such scandals are rare among football bloggers. The exposure of a well-known football blogger in such a scandal only serves to highlight the chaos within this particular circle.
