Research: Aliens may coexist with humans on Earth

Recently, researchers at Harvard University published a paper suggesting that extraterrestrial beings may exist on Earth in parallel with and alongside humans.

The paper, unrelated to Harvard University, is a form of speculative theory aimed at exploring the renewed interest in unidentified flying objects (UFOs). Pentagon officials in 2023 stated that the United States is tracking over 650 unidentified flying objects.

Harvard University researchers Tim Lomas, Brendan Case, and Montana Tech professor Michael Masters proposed a UFO “Mysterious Earth Hypothesis,” suggesting that aliens may be “secretly hidden” on Earth or in its vicinity.

They argue that scientists should seriously consider this possibility, along with other explanations, such as pilots actually seeing technological creations or artifacts from advanced civilizations from elsewhere in space.

The trio explained that the intelligent beings piloting UFOs may be “secretly hidden” on Earth or in its vicinity, possibly underground, on the other side of the moon, or even “walking among us” and posing as humans.

Masters told CBS Boston News, “We’re not saying our theory is right, or absolutely 100% correct, we’re just saying these are possibilities, some of which help explain the origins of these beings.”

Masters, a biological anthropologist, is involved in research on potential explanations for UFOs. He says that these “aliens” could actually be humans from a distant future who have discovered how to travel through time.

According to Masters, the extraterrestrial beings commonly described by humans in past reports “are generally depicted as looking exactly like us.”

He believes that extraterrestrial beings with a striking resemblance to humans are unlikely to come from other planets. “It might just be because they are us,” he said.

Regarding the typical image of “little green men,” Masters explains that in several million years, human heads might become larger, faces smaller, technologies more advanced, with many features similar to these beings.

He also speculates that these extraterrestrial beings may have been “hiding underground until they are ready for contact.”

A report released by the Pentagon this year stated that there is no evidence indicating that any UFO sighting event “represents alien technology.”

The Harvard researchers acknowledge that their paper is based on “speculative ideas,” but they argue that it is still worth serious consideration.

“This is something we should all be discussing,” Masters said.

“If we all open our minds to the existence of something far beyond us now, what can we learn from it?” he added.
