On the evening of May 18th, 2025 Eastern Time, NVIDIA’s CEO Jensen Huang delivered a speech on artificial intelligence in Taiwan. The speech was livestreamed with real-time translation subtitles by New Tang Dynasty and Epoch Times.
During the event, Jensen Huang announced that the overseas headquarters for the company will be located in Shilin, Beitou, Taiwan.
The headquarters will be named NVIDIA Constellation, symbolizing a constellation of stars. Huang expressed that the company’s engineering team in Taiwan has outgrown its current office space and is in the process of building this “constellation” in Shilin, Beitou.
Furthermore, NVIDIA is actively recruiting globally, with thousands of job openings worldwide. In Taiwan alone, there are 94 positions available, ranking second globally after the United States. According to NVIDIA’s official website, this recruitment drive spans across the Americas, Europe, Northeast Asia, and Southeast Asia.
Jensen Huang made a return to Taiwan to attend the Taipei International Computer Show this year. Upon his arrival on the 16th, he met with Wei Zhejia, chairman of TSMC, and hosted a dinner on the 17th for Taiwan’s supply chain partners. He also participated in the opening ceremony of the World Esports Games as a technology representative, lighting the sacred flame. Throughout the 18th, he rested at his hotel and left around 3:30 PM.
