Rapper Chen Boyuan Hopes to Overthrow the Chinese Communist Party, Once a Model for Uniting against Taiwan

Recently, Taiwanese rapper Chen Baiyuan, once seen as a “model of united front work towards Taiwan” collaborated with Taiwanese internet celebrity Bajiong to expose a video about the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) buying off Taiwanese internet celebrities, sparking high attention and discussion. On the 8th, in an interview, Chen Baiyuan expressed that it was only after his company in mainland China was emptied out by his partners but still required him to “love the party and love the country,” that he finally woke up. He hopes to gather all anti-Communist and democratic forces to overthrow the CCP.

Taiwanese internet celebrity Bajiong released the first part of the documentary “Chinese United Front Tactics” on the 6th, inviting the popular rapper “Min Nan Wolf PYC” with his song “Chinese Boss,” and Taiwanese rapper Chen Baiyuan to reveal how the CCP buys off Taiwanese internet celebrities. Chen Baiyuan revealed that he started a business in China, only to have his mainland partners empty it out and label him as “Taiwanese independence,” which was intolerable for him, leading to his decision to expose CCP’s united front tactics.

In the video, Chen Baiyuan had conversations with the head of the CCP’s Fujian Party Media “Cross-Strait Guide,” Taekwondo coach Li Dongxian who “raises the five-star flag,” internet celebrity “Mai Gou 886,” and an official from the Wuyi Mountain United Front Department, exposing the CCP’s united front tactics through these conversations.

After the release of the documentary “Chinese United Front Tactics,” Chen Baiyuan on Bajiong’s channel “Photographer’s Diary Fun TV” program “Douyin Account Exploded! China is Anxious and Furious!” stated that his Douyin account has been blocked, his Weibo account under the name “Min Nan Wolf PYC” shows “no content here,” and he has received numerous abusive messages from pro-CCP online trolls on his phone.

As the topic continues to heat up, internet celebrity Bajiong has teased a second part of the video at the end of December, further exposing the CCP’s “middlemen” in Taiwan and revealing the tactics of united front work through financial fraud. Due to the sensitive nature of the topic, Bajiong expressed concern for his own safety and has sought assistance from the police. On Sunday (December 8), the two participated in the “Relay to Protect Taiwan” event organized by the Black Bear Academy, where police were seen guarding the event.

Born in Taichung, Chen Baiyuan, 25 years old this year, went to study martial arts at the Henan Shaolin Temple in China at the age of 13. He later went to the United States for high school and then chose to study at the Overseas Chinese University directly under the CCP’s United Front Department, located in Quanzhou, Fujian, upon graduating. According to the CCP’s official media “China News Net,” Chen Baiyuan was invited to participate in the “Cross-Strait Forum” while in China and created several popular Min Nan songs during the pandemic, including “Getting More Fun,” which has amassed over 1 billion views.

Once highly praised by the CCP, Chen Baiyuan was seen as a model of united front work by the CCP. Having undergone deep indoctrination by the CCP, it wasn’t until his company in China was swallowed up and he found no recourse that a series of experiences led him to realize the truth about the CCP.

On the 8th, in a joint interview with Taiwanese media, Chen Baiyuan revealed his “dark past.” He mentioned that he had spent some time in China, but it wasn’t until he returned to Taiwan for military service that he suddenly woke up and realized that his previous logic and thinking were twisted. He emphasized that after being brainwashed for so long, he should stand up and unite all anti-Communist and democratic forces to overthrow the authoritarian regime.

“If someone says they want to be Chinese, then they should be upright Chinese, overthrow dictatorship, Marxism, and communism, that’s what it means to be a child of China,” Chen Baiyuan exclaimed. “Let’s all wake up together!” No longer willing to be a tool of CCP united front work.
