According to reports from Epoch Times Hong Kong, the arrested man is former Secretary-General of Demosisto, Joshua Wong.

At the end of last year, Joshua Wong was sentenced to four years and eight months in prison for “conspiracy to subvert state power” under the Hong Kong National Security Law and is currently serving his sentence.

It is reported that this afternoon at the West Kowloon Magistrates’ Court, Joshua Wong was charged with conspiring in Hong Kong between July 1 and November 23, 2020 with former Demosisto founding chairman Nathan Law and others to request foreign or external institutions, organizations, individuals to “impose sanctions, blockades, or take other hostile actions against Hong Kong or China.”
