On Sunday, September 21st, a memorial service for the well-known conservative activist Charlie Kirk was held at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, with the theme “Building Legacy: Honoring Charlie Kirk.” The police had expected over 100,000 attendees, but the actual turnout exceeded 200,000 people, mostly consisting of young individuals.
Charlie Kirk founded the non-profit organization Turning Point USA at the age of 18, promoting conservative principles on college campuses and online, quickly becoming a prominent figure in the conservative youth movement. Many have referred to him as the “beacon of young conservatism.” However, he tragically passed away at the age of 31 on September 10th after being shot during a speech at a university in Utah.
Erika Kirk, Charlie’s widow, along with President Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and others were present at the event, offering words of tribute. The President stated, “He did the right things for our country. He is the epitome of American freedom. None of us will forget Charlie Kirk, and history will not forget him.”
Among the distinguished guests and celebrities at this memorial service were Secretary of State Marco Rubio, White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard, White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, Donald Trump Jr., as well as the billionaire and CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk.
