The New York Air Dot Show returned to upstate New York on August 10th and 11th at Orange County Airport, bringing breathtaking aerial performances that captivated numerous aviation enthusiasts and families.

The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds pilots flew the F-16 Fighting Falcon in over twenty high-difficulty maneuvers, showcasing the extreme performance of the F-16 fighter jet, the pilots’ superb flying skills, and precise formation flying. The opening formations included the iconic diamond formation and solo maneuvers.

The Italian Air Force Frecce Tricolori flight demonstration team made a comeback to the United States this year, participating in air shows in New York and Ocean City, Maryland. Comprised of ten MB339 training aircraft, the Frecce Tricolori team presented the three-color smoke representing the Italian flag and showcased their formation flying skills. This marked their first performance in the United States since 1992.

Michael Goulian is one of the world’s top aerobatic pilots, having won the U.S. Unlimited Aerobatic Championship at the age of 27 in 1995, making him one of the youngest pilots to achieve this. His aerial performances combine high-difficulty rolls and stunts, pushing the limits of speed and gravity to present a passionate aerobatic feast for the audience.
