Hsu Shu-hua highlighted Nantou’s significance as the heart of Taiwan, home to landmarks such as Yushan, Taiwan’s highest mountain, Sun Moon Lake, the first largest lake, and the Zhuoshui River, the longest river in Taiwan. Drawing inspiration from Nantou’s beautiful landscapes, this year’s fireworks show featured the creation of “Colorful Ink Wash Fireworks,” combining traditional elements with trendy music to offer a visually stunning and sensory feast for the spectators.
Additionally, Nantou is not only a major tourist destination but also a prominent agricultural county, renowned for its Taiwan tea production.
