With just nine days left until the US election, both major political parties’ candidates are ramping up their campaign efforts. On Sunday, Republican presidential candidate and former President Trump will hold a large rally at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Meanwhile, his Democratic rival, Vice President Harris, will be heading to Pennsylvania to rally support from African American voters.

In the final sprint of the presidential campaign, time is of the essence for the candidates. New York has traditionally been seen as a stronghold for the Democratic Party, making Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden a highly anticipated event. The venue, with a seating capacity of 19,500, is home to the New York Knicks and the New York Rangers.

Trump’s campaign team has announced that the event on Sunday will feature political idols, celebrities, music artists, as well as speeches from Trump’s friends and family. They will all emphasize why Trump is the best choice to address current issues.

In a press release, the campaign team stated that this epic event will showcase the historic political movement Trump has built in the final days of the campaign.

Prominent figures like billionaire Elon Musk and UFC President Dana White are confirmed to attend the rally on Sunday. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, Federal Representatives Elise Stefanik and Byron Donalds also plan to give speeches at the event.

Former US presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Trump’s senior advisor Stephen Miller, and former Trump administration official Brooke Rollins are also slated to speak at the rally.

According to Trump’s campaign team, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani will address the crowd as well.

Other attendees at the rally will include Trump’s running mate, Senator Pence, Trump’s eldest son Donald Trump Jr., and former Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

On the same day as Trump’s foray into the Democratic Party stronghold, his opponent Harris will continue campaigning in swing states. On Sunday, Harris will visit West Philadelphia in Pennsylvania to deliver a speech at an African American church.

Following that, Harris will visit a barbershop. Campaign officials have stated that she will also visit a Puerto Rican restaurant and meet with families at a youth basketball center.

Harris’s running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, will head to Las Vegas for a bus tour. Walz will also attend a rally encouraging early voting in Indigenous and Hispanic communities.

Later, he will join a watch party for the Las Vegas Raiders vs. Kansas City Chiefs NFL game before returning to Minnesota. Walz will also attend a watch party for the game between the Las Vegas Raiders and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Musical guests set to perform at the rally include Death Row Records founder Michael Harris Jr., singer Lee Greenwood, and opera singer Christopher Macchio.

Madison Square Garden has previously hosted the Republican National Convention (RNC) in 2004, and the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in 1924, 1976, 1980, and 1992.
