According to the netizen, on January 31st, she was on Shandong Airlines flight SC2270 from Guilin to Xiamen. After the plane landed, she stepped on something strange and found a firecracker. Shocked by the discovery, she filmed a video and handed it to the flight crew.
Afterwards, the netizen tried to contact Shandong Airlines to report the issue but did not receive a response. Consequently, she decided to expose the incident online, questioning the serious security loophole in the security check process. In the video, the firecracker appeared to be intact.

In response to this, mainland China’s Cover News reported that Guilin Liangjiang International Airport initially stated on February 1st that they had not received any feedback from the airline regarding the incident.
On February 2nd, the security department staff of Guilin Liangjiang International Airport stated that they are aware of the incident and are conducting an investigation to verify the details. It was mentioned that they need to wait for the results of the investigation.
