Park Bo-lan had liver cirrhosis before his death, cause of death revealed today

The South Korean singer, Park Bora, who had previously achieved remarkable success on the talent show “Super Star K2,” unexpectedly passed away on the evening of April 11th. Following a post-mortem examination, it was concluded that there were “no signs of homicide or suicide” contributing to her death. The exact cause of her demise continues to draw attention from various sectors. On the 23rd, the police publicly disclosed Park Bora’s definitive cause of death.

Park Bora collapsed at a friend’s house in the city of Namyangju after drinking on the evening of April 11th. She was found pulseless, and despite resuscitation efforts at the hospital, she was pronounced dead later that evening. Her management company XANADU Entertainment stated that to ascertain Park Bora’s cause of death, an autopsy was conducted on the morning of the 15th, revealing “no indications of homicide or suicide.”

The police department in the southern part of Namyangju announced on the 23rd that they had recently received the final autopsy report from the National Forensic Service regarding Park Bora’s post-mortem examination. The report suggested that Park Bora likely died from “acute alcohol intoxication.”

Moreover, at the time of her death, Park Bora was in poor health due to conditions such as liver cirrhosis and fatty liver disease. Apart from acute alcohol intoxication, no other conceivable causes of death were identified.
